The company earned three awards during two distinct Southeast Texas events on May 16th and May 17th.
Industrial Safety Training Council – Safety Achievement Awards
On May 16th, Sunrise Services was honored with two Safety Achievement Awards at the ISTC – Industrial Safety Training Council 2024 Awards banquet. The company was among 77 finalists who showed outstanding safety culture and metrics for multiple years in the Golden Triangle area.
- One Safety Achievement Award was presented for having worked 12 years without an OSHA lost workday case involving days away from work.
- The second Safety Achievement Award was presented for achieving a 100% reduction in our total recordable incident rate during 2023.
37th Annual Safety Excellence Awards
On May 17th, Sunrise Services was honored at the 37th Annual Safety Excellence Awards (SEA). The event was presented by the Industry Business Roundtable (IBR) and the Health and Safety Council Health® (HASC).
The company received the Gold Safety Excellence Award in the Small Environmental category. This marks the sixth time Sunrise has been recognized for its commitment to safety by IBR and HASC. It’s also the second time Sunrise Services received a Gold level award at this event.
These awards are presented annually to contractors or subcontractors in the Texas Gulf Coast Area who achieve outstanding on-the-job safety promotion and performance at an asset owner’s site or business during that calendar year.
