Houston, TX (December 1, 2022) – Sunrise Plastic Enterprise, a worldwide leader in recovering and recycling secondary plastic, has earned the GreenCircle Certified 100% Recycled Content Certification for seven of its polypropylene and polyethylene products.

Since 1988, Sunrise has provided solutions for all the major petrochemical producers across North America to recover and recycle excess polymers. These products are created from carefully recovered polymer from major petrochemical plants. Sunrise’s recycling processes return the polymer to a clean, homogeneous, reusable state through our world-class polymer improvement processes and technical testing.

“Environmental responsibility has been at the core of Sunrise Plastic’s mission for over 30 years. We have focused on sustainability since before the term was used in environmental circles,” said Chris Magnus, Sunrise Plastic’s President. “We are proud that our products have achieved GreenCircle certifications, verifying our strict processing standards and confirming the environmental sustainability of our materials to our customers and community stakeholders.”

To achieve certification, GreenCircle rigorously validated the source matter, percentage of recycled material, and process of these materials. The products achieving certification are:
