Sunrise is pleased to announce that 19 of our recycled products have been validated by the UL 2809 Environmental Claim Validation Procedure (ECVP).
UL Solutions evaluates the recycled content of products to “differentiate between genuinely environmentally preferable products and those that aren’t.” Undergoing UL Solutions’ scientific assessment and receiving the UL Environmental Claim Validation Mark provides an independent evaluation of the sustainability of Sunrise resins.
UL 2809 validates the amount of recycled material in products, including:
- Post-consumer recycled content
- Pre-consumer (post-industrial) recycled content
- Closed loop or total recycled content
- Ocean plastic and ocean-bound plastic
- Byproduct synergy
