Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) has challenged plastic resin handlers to achieve zero plastic resin loss. OCS is an international program designed to prevent and help keep plastic litter materials out of the marine environment. With sustainability at the core of our work, Sunrise committed to the OSC pledge and was recognized with the OCS Blue Verification.
“By joining OCS Blue, Sunrise hopes to serve the planet as environmental stewards for our communities,” said Chris Magnus, President of Sunrise Plastic Enterprise.
This honor came after a facility-level external inspection. To maintain this qualification, Sunrise will provide data quarterly to prove that we continue to meet OSC’s rigorous standards.
